About Oakville Robotics
Hello! We are the robotics club at Oakville High School. We design, build, program, and wire robots every year for different competitions. Our club also works to mentor and help other teams. We find ways to support the club through fundraising activities and regularly hosted meetings both after school. We do this in order to prepare for competitions. Every member has a different set of skills. In this club, we work as a whole to learn and grow together. If you are interested in joining the club, we are always willing to take in new members. No matter your experience or your skills, we would love to have you.
Oakville Robotics was formed in 2011. We consist of three teams: the FIRST Robotics Competition team, and two First Tech Challenge teams. The FTC teams have placed within the top 50% of their competitions each year, and the club is currently raising funds in order to participate in the FRC competition this year.
Currently, Dr. James Kreyling is the sponsor of the club, helping the club facilitate official matters where a legal adult is needed. He can be contacted at kreylingj@msdr9.org. If you would like to contact the team as a whole, please leave a message at roboticsohs@mehlvilleschooldistrict.net .
